Aged leads · sold by segment
Aged Final Expense Leads, Sold by State and Age Band
Aged final expense leads fit agents and agency floors that sell by phone, dial by hand, and want to open a new licensed state or fill spare dialing hours. The records already exist, so they arrive immediately on purchase, with no campaign build and no ramp.
- Age bands measure the age of the record, not of the consumer
- Per record, the cheapest final expense leads on our rate card
- Defects claimed within 72 hours are replaced or credited, not refunded
- No answer, no interest and no sale are not defects
How aged final expense leads are sold here
An aged final expense lead is a consumer record that has passed its real-time window: the inquiry is weeks, months or more than a year old by the time you dial. On this page, "age band" means the age of the record in days, never the consumer's age.
Aged final expense leads are sold by segment: one state and one age band, always in final expense, the only vertical we sell. You choose the state and the band; loose single records are not sold, so one $0.50 record is not an orderable product.
Aged is the one product in our catalog that is genuinely off the shelf. Exclusive leads and live transfers are generated on demand for each buyer's states and carry launch minimums; aged records already exist, so a segment has no minimum spend and is delivered immediately on purchase. Per record, aged segments are the cheapest final expense leads on our rate card.
Aged final expense lead prices by age band
Each record is billed at its age band's price per lead, from our published rate card.
| Record age | Price per lead |
|---|---|
| 30–90 days | $3.00 |
| 91–180 days | $1.75 |
| 181–365 days | $1.00 |
| 365+ days | $0.50 |
Each step down the table buys an older record: the 30–90 days band holds the youngest records sold as aged, the 365+ days band the oldest. A segment's price is its record count multiplied by its band price.
Price per record is only half of the decision. What a segment really costs is its price divided by the policies you write from it, and that rests on your own contact and close rates by band, which no vendor can promise. Before you order, run those rates through the cost-per-sale calculator.
Not exclusive: what that label means for an aged record
Aged leads are not exclusive unless they have genuinely never been resold. On this site, exclusive means one buyer per record. A record that may have been sold before cannot meet that test, so aged segments are labeled not exclusive.
Work every aged record on the assumption that another agent has already called it; the consumer may have bought a policy since the inquiry. Under our replacement policy, a prospect who has already spoken with another company is not a defect, and neither is a "not interested".
If you need a record that goes to you alone, that is a different product: exclusive final expense leads, sold to one buyer per record, built for your states and delivered in real time at a higher price per lead.
How to order an aged segment
- Choose a state where you are licensed to sell. Segments are cut by state, so buy only the states you can write in.
- Choose an age band. Younger bands cost more per record and sit closer to the consumer's inquiry; older bands cost less.
- Buy by segment. There is no minimum spend. The segment is the unit you buy, not the single record.
- Prepay the segment. All lead packs are prepaid.
- Receive the records immediately on purchase. There is no campaign build and no ramp to wait through.
- Scrub before the first dial. Check every number against the National Do Not Call Registry, your own do-not-call list and the Reassigned Numbers Database, as set out below.
- Report defects within 72 hours. Defects claimed inside the window are replaced or credited under the rules in the next section.
Replacement or credit for defective aged records
Aged records fall under the same replacement rules as every lead we sell. An objective defect is replaced or credited; a record that simply did not produce a sale is not.
Replaced or credited when
- The telephone number is disconnected or belongs to the wrong person
- The lead is outside the agreed state, age or basic eligibility filter
- A duplicate appears in the same client order
- Required lead fields are materially false or missing
- A consent record cannot be produced where required
Not replaced when
- The prospect did not answer
- The prospect says "not interested" after previously submitting
- The agent called too slowly
- The agent did not close
- The prospect already spoke with a different company independently
- The client dislikes the lead without an objective defect
Claim window: 72 hours, unless your order confirmation states a different one. Remedy: Replacement or account credit, not a cash refund. The full terms are in our lead replacement and credit policy.
How these age bands compare with other published aged price lists
Vendors cut aged data at different ages, so "aged" alone tells you little. Below are three published price lists as each vendor's own page showed them on October 14, 2026. We sell aged leads ourselves, so treat this as one vendor's comparison and check each page for current prices.
| Vendor | Age bands and published price | Minimum order | Exclusivity, as stated | Refunds or credits, as stated |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aged Lead Store (life insurance and FEX records) | 3–30 days $4.50, 31–85 days $2.50, 86–365 days $0.80 per lead at 1–249 leads; $2.00, $0.60 and $0.25 at 25,000+ leads | $100 across all lead products | Shared: "Other agents may already have purchased or contacted them." | None stated on the price page |
| Badass Insurance Leads (English life leads, with an FEX-only option) | 2 weeks–3 months: $320 per 100 leads; 3–12 months: $100 per 100 leads | None stated; the smallest pack is 100 leads | Not stated; no repeat leads to the same buyer email | Leads "sold as is"; no refunds "for any reason" |
| Final Expense Marketing (this site) | 30–90 days $3.00, 91–180 days $1.75, 181–365 days $1.00, 365+ days $0.50 per lead | no minimum spend, sold by segment | Not exclusive | Defects replaced or credited when claimed within 72 hours |
Compare band edges and terms, not headline prices. A 31–85 day band is not our 30–90 days band, and a 3–12 month pack spans two of our bands. A minimum order, a refund rule or an exclusivity statement changes what each usable record costs you.
Consent age, DNC scrubbing and state calling limits
Four checks decide how you may call an aged segment. This is a summary, not legal advice: run all four checks on each age band before you write a dial plan for aged records.
Does the consent name you?
Prior express written consent must clearly authorize "the seller", the business the call is made for (47 CFR 64.1200(f)(9), (f)(10)). FCC rules require it for autodialed or prerecorded telemarketing calls to cell phones and for prerecorded or artificial-voice telemarketing to home lines (64.1200(a)(2), (a)(3)). If an aged record's consent does not name you or your agency, call live, dial by hand, and leave out robocalls and recorded messages; a 2022 FCC ruling counts ringless voicemail drops to cell phones among them (FCC 22-85).
Is there a business relationship?
An inquiry supports an established business relationship for three months, and only with the business the consumer inquired with (64.1200(f)(5)). Nothing in the rule passes that relationship to whoever buys the record, so assume you have none with any aged record.
Is the number on a do-not-call list, or reassigned?
With no business relationship, a number on the National Do Not Call Registry can take your sales call only with a signed, written agreement in which the consumer "agrees to be contacted by this seller" (64.1200(c)(2)(ii)). Registrations stay in force until the consumer cancels or the number is removed. Scrub each segment against every do-not-call list that binds you, including your own and a registry copy no more than 31 days old on the day of each call, not of delivery (64.1200(c)(2)(i)(D)), and honor new do-not-call requests within ten business days (64.1200(d)(3)). Check old numbers in the Reassigned Numbers Database at reassigned.us; the rule's reassigned-number safe harbor covers only callers who held consent and got a "no" from it (64.1200(m)).
Are you inside calling hours and call caps?
Federal rules bar telephone solicitations before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. at the consumer's location (64.1200(c)(1)). Florida and Maryland are stricter: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the consumer's time zone, and no more than three calls in 24 hours on the same subject, from any number (Fla. Stat. §501.616(6); Maryland Chapter 413 of 2023). Florida's limits bind licensed insurance agents too (§501.604). Check each new state's statute or rule for calling windows, barred days and call caps before dialing there.
Your dialing method, calling hours, do-not-call list and scripts stay your responsibility; we sell the records, not compliance. See how we keep consent and source records.
When aged leads fit, and when another lead type fits better
Aged segments fit agents and agency floors that already sell final expense by phone, dial by hand, and want to open a new licensed state or fill spare dialing hours without a launch minimum. They reward buyers who track contact and close rates by band, reorder what works, and guard their outbound numbers against spam labels while they dial a segment.
They fit poorly if you need a consumer who asked about coverage today, a call already screened for interest, or a record no other agent receives; see how every final expense lead type compares. If your floor holds more records than callers, a final expense setter desk can work the follow-up on a set attempt schedule, under the same consent and calling limits, priced separately from the leads.
Questions agents ask
Frequently asked questions
How much do aged final expense leads cost?
Here they cost $0.50–$3.00 per lead by record age: $3.00 for 30–90 days, $1.75 for 91–180 days, $1.00 for 181–365 days and $0.50 for 365+ days, with no minimum spend. Other vendors cut different bands and set different terms, so compare by record age, minimum order and refund rules.
Are aged final expense leads exclusive?
No. Aged leads are not exclusive unless they have genuinely never been resold. Exclusive, on this site, means one buyer per record, so treat every aged record as one another agent may already have called.
Is there a minimum order for aged leads?
There is no minimum spend. Aged records are sold by segment (one state, one age band), never as single loose records.
How fast are aged leads delivered?
Aged records are delivered immediately on purchase. They already exist, so there is no campaign build and no ramp.
Can I autodial or send prerecorded messages to aged leads?
Only with prior express written consent that clearly authorizes you as the seller: FCC rules require it for autodialed or prerecorded telemarketing to cell phones and prerecorded telemarketing to home lines. Without it, dial by hand.
What happens if an aged record is bad?
Objective defects, such as a disconnected or wrong-person number or a duplicate in the same order, are replaced or credited when claimed within 72 hours. No answer, no interest and no sale are not defects.
Where can I buy aged final expense leads?
From vendors that publish their age bands, prices and terms, including us. Compare band edges, minimum order, exclusivity and refund rules side by side, and buy only states where you are licensed to sell.
Are aged leads worth it?
They are when a segment's price divided by the policies you write from it beats your cost per sale from other sources. That rests on your own contact and close rates by age band, which no vendor can promise.
